Product License

01Your personal-use license

Unless a product expressly includes different terms before purchase, payment grants one individual a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the purchased product for personal, non-commercial purposes. Copyright and all rights not expressly granted remain with the relevant rights holder.

You may keep using a legitimately downloaded copy without a recurring fee while you comply with the license. The license does not expire merely because we release a newer edition. Hosting and future updates are separate from permission to use your copy.

02What you may do

• Read eBooks and use resources for your own learning and reference.
• Download to devices you personally control and keep reasonable private backups.
• Print a copy for your personal use where the format allows it.
• Duplicate a template into your own private workspace and customise it for your personal planning or learning.
• Apply ideas or knowledge you learn, without copying or distributing the protected product itself.

03What this license does not include

These restrictions do not limit uses expressly permitted by applicable law, such as a lawful quotation or other statutory copyright exception. Your own original notes and data remain yours; using a template does not transfer ownership of them to us.

• Sharing files, template duplication links, account access or copies with friends, family, colleagues, students or a group. Each user needs their own license.
• Reselling, renting, sublicensing, giving away, publishing or uploading the product to marketplaces, public repositories, file-sharing sites or shared workspaces.
• Using the product itself in paid client work, a team or business workspace, a course, membership, commercial publication or a competing product without written permission.
• Rebranding, translating, repackaging or modifying a product for redistribution or sale. Editing it does not make its underlying content yours.
• Removing rights notices or bypassing access restrictions.

04Product-specific and third-party terms

A different license clearly offered with a product before purchase takes precedence for that product. If you need commercial, classroom or team rights, ask [email protected] before using it that way; we do not assume or promise that such a license is available.

Third-party fonts, software, images and services may have their own license conditions identified with the product. Purchasing from us does not create an account with or a license to third-party software beyond what is expressly included.

05Refunds and license breaches

If a product is fully refunded, its license ends and you must stop using and delete your copies, subject to legal recordkeeping requirements. For a material license breach, we may restrict access and seek an appropriate remedy. Where reasonably possible, we will notify you and allow you to address the issue; urgent security or unlawful distribution may require immediate action. Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
